Location is perfect for exploring Ennis. Our Executive Room was equipped with a tv, tea/coffee maker, and hairdryer. Breakfast had a fabulous selection, including great cereals and pastries. The staff was super helpful and even catered to our dietary needs. The bar served decent pub food with excellent service.

The location of Temple Gate Hotel is fantastic. Right in the heart of Ennis, it makes exploring the town easy. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding area. The staff at the front desk were friendly, greeting me immediately with a warm smile. The bar area had a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food served at the hotel restaurant. The local dishes were delicious and flavorful. I did encounter several issues . The shower temperature fluctuated quite a bit, and it took a while to get used to it. I also noticed that the breakfast service lacked efficiency. One morning, the staff seemed overwhelmed, causing delays in food service. Some areas within the hotel could use a bit of maintenance, as the carpets looked worn and could benefit from a deep clean. On evenings, noise from the street was a bit distracting, but it wasn't unbearable.

It was as expected, had a very comfortable stay for 2 nights. The hotel was a chilled-out base for enjoying a lovely area, just off popular pubs and restaurants and central Ennis and a coffee shop. The property had a great location a super close walk to Tierney's Cycles. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

The rooms were decent size and airy, plus the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The hotel had a very central location and it was feet from Franciscan Friary.

Spotless units on big screen, we appreciated it.

Real cosy family like atmosphere

The Twin Room was decent but felt outdated for a 4-star place. It was clean, and the beds were okay, but definitely could use some updates. I appreciated the tea-making facilities, though. It just didn't feel as luxurious as I expected.

The room was quiet, and I loved the comfortable beds. The hotel bar had a lovely atmosphere. The staff's friendliness. I had a great chat with Louise at the front desk. Her tips.

This Hotel was ideal due to the location & distance of the main town features & entertainment. Located within walking distance of everything it was a great place to visit. Friendly people & friendly enviroment meant a great holiday all round. Would totally recommend & will definately re-visit.

close to all amenities. friendly. staff were outstanding in all areas of hotel. this makes a good hotel. decor needs a face lift in bedrooms. food lovely.

Room should have been cleaner. Sticky surfaces on lockers not acceptable

temple gate is a lovely hotel, not too big but not too small. very clean and well furbished. our room was spacious and very clean.its location if fantastic,right in the centre of ennis.we have rebooked for our next visit already.when i asked for a late check out there was no problem at all.

our first visit i thought the receptionist was a little distatnt, a young woman. and the cover on our bed was faded but thats all. really it was a veryenjoyable stay

We had a lovely overnight stay, especially enjoying the generous room size and the delicious breakfast offerings. A special mention for the manager, Maria, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect!

The kitchen staff kindly provided sandwiches late at night, as we had missed dinner. This was done willingly and without any fusss. Staff were also most helpful with directions, etc..

Our room and bathroom could do with a little tlc - not dirty but a little worn at the edges - some rust on bathroom shower curtain, toilet slow to flush.

I found the hotel relatively easy to find, the receptionist when checking in was so friendly and helpful. Overall I found the hotel very comfortable and very quiet.

There was one locked cabinet in my room but I had no way of opening same. While I booked an executive room I was not of the opinion that this was an executive type room but that was ok.
